This tour is create for those who are Nature Lovers,

Selirong island is the largest mangrove forest reserve which is situated just clear of Brunei BAY. Covering 2,566 hectares in total land size. It is known to be the best tropical Mangrove forest Reserve in South East Asia. Mostly RHIZOPHORA mangrove species dominant here. The island was the source of much of the timber used for piling in building home. You will experience to hear the Nature Musician done by the Mud Clam “Polymesoda Expansa “, White Collared Kingfisher “Halcyon Chloris” and other creatures. You will have the opportunity to see the Giant Mudskippers “Periophthalmodon Schloserri”.

From the Selirong Island the tour will proceed to the Pulau Baru-Baru (Baru-Baru Island) where you can visit the charcoal factory. You will experienced to see the process of charcoal which been taken from the mangrove trees “Rhizaphora Apiculata”

TOUR ITINERARY:

• You will leave the pier for a 45minutes boat trip from the famous beach in BruneiSerasa Beach” or Serasa Water Sport Complex to the Selirong Island. “
• Upon arriving you will be registered at park center and brief by park Rangers (mineral water will be provide at park center with rest room break for 10 min)
• Boardwalk guiding through the millions aerial roots along the flat plank walkway for 2 km in the tropical mangrove forest.
• Enjoy with the surroundings of nature sound & nature guide explanation while we make several stop at rest hut (2x rest hut break)
• From starting point boardwalk to park’s end will takes approximately an hour walk (mineral water will be provided at park’s end point with rest room break for 10 min)
• Proceed for the Charcoal Factory with a 45minutes boat trip to the Island of Baru-Baru.
• Arrive and exploring the charcoal factory for 20minutes.
• Depart to Kota Batu jetty along the Brunei River.
• Arrive at the jetty you will proceed into the country side with 30minutes coach ride to Muara Port.
• TOUR ENDS AT MUARA PORT.

TOUR INCLUDES :

• Boat & Life jacket
• 2 bottles each of mineral water
• Nature guide with 1 assist guide

REMARKS :

• Life jacket MUST STRICTLY wear during on the cruising
• Maximum to 20 paxs only per boat
• Max 20 paxs per group walking on plank walkway with 1 guide & 1 assist guide per group.
